I pull the trigger today and order more 90% from Silvertowne. I'm been looking for a while and I saw a small dip today. Will keep track of how long before I receive the order and if there will be any problems. Will keep everyone posted when and what I received. Open to any thoughts from anyone else.

In Adam's world CTU is Copper TON units. So selling 36 CTU's is what Adam calls an average Tuesday morning.

personally i'm skeptical 90% will go up much more. with silver, its very easy to get silver fever or worse numi fever.

I think the smart move is to trade 90% for generic .999. You get more silver this way and in the long run you will come out ahead since the price of silver will increase at a much greater rate than the size of the premium (that's my expectation, anyway).

I just like having a mix of silver plus I got 1% back from my credit card and free shipping helped.

doesn't matter that much what form the silver is in... just keep stacking and keep adding to your core holdings. Only sell in case of need or emergency. Strong hands, People... Strong hands!

i don't see the premiums on 90% going up either outside of ebay. even then, the government issued coins command an even bigger premium.

Well it seems for silver weight you would have done better here at realcent where almost all lots here NEVER have barbers or standing liberty quarters unless specified

Also also a lot sellers pull out worn coins as a common courtesy. But its interesting what the big boys throw at you when you order 90%. At lease you didnt order from Apmex- you would have gotten Beauanderos's slicks!

The funny thing is, most of those Walkers I sold were teens and twenties... APMEX charges even a higher premium for full rolls of those than they do for their later date "bullion" rolls. Heck, I'm just returning the stuff I got from them in the first place, as half of my buying was from them, half from ebay.

I bought $5 from Silvertowne around the same time just to see what kind of mix I might get. I got 2 WL halves, 2 Franklin halves, 1 Kennedy, 6 washington quarters and 10 dimes (2 mercs in the bunch). All the coins were in decent shape and all in all I was satisfied by what they sent. I think it is good to have a smattering of everything in your stack. Government .999, Generic .999, 90%. I do stay away from the fancy overpriced stuff like kooks, brits etc.
