Yes, the kids and grandkids get some type of silver for gifts now. I try to get the 5oz. America the Beautiful coins for Christmas. The 'kids' also know to keep any silver found in stray change as well as nickels and pennies. The little grandchildren are learning the nickel value by me searching some and keeping to fill a collector book for them. I was taught at a very young age in the 1960s to keep the silver and wheat pennies at that time!
