So simple, even a child can understand...

Allegory. Yes. Allegory. There are many memorable stories and teachers that have used it. Its tricky and subtle. So you remember its message when found again.I know many of you know the greatest of these books. But I am here to remind you of another. A children's book first published in 1900,so so long ago...The WONDERFUL Wizard of Oz Written by L. Frank Baum.
OH don't forget the wonderful. Sounds so full of hope.
Now,I said enough, like many of our fellow realcenters about religion and politics but come on.
I'm sick of what I'm being fed day in and day out. Real distinguished gentlemen and women at the top of society have been feeding us garbage so long we pine for more. From the evil motivating the top, down to the bankers, gun smugglers, drug smugglers, corrupt officials elected or not, movie and media conglomerates and other countless spineless evil entranced zombies you run into, watch them closely.
And be ready when they confront you.Happens much more often then we realize. I think this sums up my thoughts also, from the wiki article;Baum biographer Rebecca Loncraine points out that the story is a critique of power and shows how “easily people who lack belief in themselves can become willing participants in the deceptions practiced by manipulative figures who rule over them”

I invite you to read all 3 links and post any others you may find.
I know this is not a new topic to some. And not the only warning we as a people have been given.
What other story do you have to share.I would like to know.
This is not a time to be divided! Don't be so quick to find fault with your brothers. We have to be more supportive of each other and be gentle and wise with our tongues.
OK let me have it.

Decades before he wrote The Wizard of Oz, L. Frank Baum both raised and wrote about Hamburgs. From Henderson's Chicken Breed Chart. http://www.ithaca.edu/staff/jhenderson/ ... ooks.html#.
He wrote the book called The Book of the Hamburgs. The full text of which can be found here: http://archive.org/stream/cu31924003117 ... 4_djvu.txt

With apologies, totally off topic.

I'm fond of Dennis Waitley's "If you don't believe in something, you'll fall for anything."
