As I'm having my groceries rung up by the cashier, I notice that he has 2 wheaties sitting tails up on his register. I can't see the dates 'cause they're tails up. I ask him if I give him 2 of my own cents, can I have those 2? He says "sure". SCORE!!! Got a '42 and a '57D!!! Traded 2 zincolns for 'em.
YAY!!

Nice work.

Gotta love Aldi. Your account of the score doesn't even make mention of the fact that you got a great deal on the most important commodity of all....Food. I'll bet Aldi would be a great place to be a cashier. Imagine all the old change you would see! There would probably be at least one score per shift.

Off topic but they are opening an Aldi right by me this spring, good to hear their grocery prices are competitive.
I could walk to it.
If I can score some wheats there that would be cool too.
My, you have a lot of coins! Please wait while we catch up.
