You can still find Ammo but you have to hunt harder for the reasonable prices!

Gunbot.net is good, but I have found a thread on the Smith and Wesson forums where people post up when they find .22lr. If you have the time during the day to follow it you can find some good deals, but they go fast (sometimes within minutes). If you go back through the thread you will get an idea of what has been available.

But, you can't eat gold or ammo.

There will come a day (I may or may not still be on the planet) when humankinds' primary goal will be fed.

Heirloom seeds, more valuable than either. Just not yet.

just a supply squeeze. the price will equillibrate eventually. it will be higher than previous prices though.

manufacturers will ramp up production to meet market demand, but it will take some time for it to reach the shelves.
