Near perfect 1964 quarters are very common and have little value over melt unless you send it off to be professional graded but most likely the grading cost would be more than the coin value.

No offense, but this doesn't look near perfect to me. Those two dents on the face are pretty noticeable, and the rest of the coin on both sides isn't exactly perfect either. I think I've seen better 1964 quarters than this (that I bought at melt) but maybe I just didn't notice the problems without magnification...

I agree. At least no silver has been lost to wear.

I'm not a very good grader and worse at Washingtons but I would put this at around AU50 which for a 1964 is exactly equal to melt plus whatever premium 90% goes for.

It might get AU53. Again worth only melt.
