The story on pennies was rather lacking. (Like most penny stories by national companies) Only thing caught my attention was the mint director thinks pennies should be removed, but outside of him, everyone else in the government appears to want to maintain the "status quo". This is good news for small time hoarders, and individuals who want the melt ban to be remain (for now).
But if you caught the first half about Ben Bernak and where he grew up, and what his thoughts were on the financial meltdown. They were rather interesting, and seemed almost sincere, I would wager to say that since he is a numbers guy and lies are something from a politician and actor realm. That he truly believes he is helping the country, and that he thinks he helped save it by giving banks unlimited access to dollars. However, he is just delaying the inevitable, but I suppose he doesn't want to go down in history as the man who helped start GD#2.
