I can say this is not the bottom. I assured it not being the bottom by placing a large order today. :)

I wouldn't be surprised if this is the bottom.

No need to predict the bottom after each new low then lower. The silver selling websites do that daily. Once can follow the price. Trends are trends. It is that simple.

Nice call Doc! Now let's just hope it holds...

Some folks have wanted to believe that lower prices is only a reflection of the "paper" markets. However, as usual, there is no free arbitrage. Paper and physical have been moving (lower) in tandem.

True. Anything is possible, including the "capitulation" bottoms that have happened every few bucks all the way down. Serially dependent price persistence.

So, I take it you're not backing up the truck at $18. $18 SILVER should provide STRONG support and be a level from which SILVER rebounds. If $18 breaks, we've got to look at $14 SILVER. If not that, then $9 SILVER - the bottom of the 2009 swoon! Times like these test your "metal" to know whether you be a long term stacker.

I believe the supply of SILVER will soon dry up, as SILVER production is a by-product of COPPER. However, in the short term, the effects of diminishing supply will have little effect. At this point, some announcement of sovereign BUYING (why should they announce it when they'd like a lower price to buy?) is needed to stem the downturn.
Humankind has not woven the web of life. We are but one thread within it. Whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves. All things are bound together. All things connect. ~Chief Seattle, 1855

90 days later, and Doc's position is coming into clearer focus.

And 90 days from now...?
