Penny Hoard 1910 to 1960s

I'm going through my Dad's stash of pennies. I looked at cointrackers.com to get some idea of their values. Typically, they seem to fall between 15 to 35 cents each, in "poor" condition, some are more. The great majority of the coins are much better than poor, but I hesitate to assign an actual grade. These coins were removed from circulation in the mid to late 1960s, so they are in better condition than coins you would normally find in the wild today.

There are also 23 full rolls (in plastic pill tubes) in BU condition, random from 1959 to 1970, various mints.

I would prefer to sell this entire collection to one buyer, so that the buyer can make some money, but I also get a fair deal for them.

Is there anyone here who deals in old pennies for their numi value?

I hate to break it to you, but that site is worse than useless. They claim a 2006 P dime in poor condition is worth 15 cents. Practically everything is worth over face value according to them, regardless of condition. I have no idea why they think that, but it isn't true.

I agree. Their prices are silly. Most wheat pennies are worth less than 10c each. I would be interested in buying them if you want to send me a list.

With that in mind, it is too much work for the small profit to count the pennies and make a list of every date and quantity for each. So I'm just going to chuck them in the Cu penny bin and just be happy they don't need to be run through the Ryedale.

I think it would be worth it to separate the wheats from the other copper at least. I've heard they sell for at least 3x face.
