New guy here

How's it going everyone? A few years ago I started investing in silver but got into a rough spot and had to sell most of it. Now I'm back it and I see the spot price has went down which is good for me to start buying again but unfortunately alot of the coin shops around here have been very low lately. Anyways I'm 30 years old and from the Chicago suburbs. Glad to have found this website. Cheers.

Welcome. I'm also from the Chicago suburbs. If you can't find anything to buy locally, Provident Metals usually has good prices.

Thanks for the welcome guys. I'm hoping to find a bank that can sell me half dollars to search. I'd much rather accumulate my silver that way than to pay a premium

I'm located in Kankakee. About a hour south of chicago. Surrounded by cornfields!

I'm just north of Bloomington. WHere I-55/US-24/Route 66 all intersect....

J/KMy first avatar on RC was the IL state quarter.
It reminds me of where I grew up.
I could look 100 yds. west and see cornfields and on a clear day I could look 50 mi. east and see the Chicago skyline.
And of course it has Lincoln on it.
