Could it be ! However, methinks it is merely yearend futures traders closing out their short positions.
Humankind has not woven the web of life. We are but one thread within it. Whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves. All things are bound together. All things connect. ~Chief Seattle, 1855

I'd take the money and run, wait for a better entry point. You know they'll pull it back down within a few days.

Oh shucks, I missed my chance. It's down a whole 20 cents from the peak. Oh well.
267,500 pennies and 186,000 nickels searched. Hand sorter.

I'm a permarealist and like our friend the noble opossum I am a opportunistic omnivore. USLV at my buy of < 41.20 was irresistible low hanging fruit.

Kitco expands the vertical scale to make a flat market look hot. Check the actual changes in value. Twenty cents per ounce? Wow.

Ray, I need to let that accounts funds settle.

Also sold Dad's 50 shares of FB that I purchased for him on IPO day 5/10/12 @ 38.05. Sold today @ 56.95

Stats:
Holding period- 17 months
profit less fees- $931
total return- 48.75%
Annual return - 34.42%

Dad was pretty disappointed/apprehensive about me buying the hype of FB on IPO day....with his money nonetheless. Hopefully he will see this post and recognize the wise sage like investing abilities of his son. Maybe even toss him a 10th eaglet as a kick back. I'm not holding my breath on that last part

that's the trouble with playing highly leveraged ETF's (inside 401k's). You have the three day settlement period. I'm saddled with the same dilemma, which is why I recommended taking the money while there was profit to be grabbed. You basically have to hold your breath that the trend you want will endure for three days... and in this market?

nice job on the FB! Arthur?
