Beginners luck

Postby chester5731 » Thu Jan 09, 2014 9:58 am

I recently started searching halves for 40% and 90% silver. The town I work in has 7 banks and between them I found 12 or 13 rolls. When all was said and done I ended up with 1-1964 and 3-40%. One of the fellas I work with had a girlfriend that works at a credit union in a town 60 or 70 miles away. She said they had 12 rolls there and that she would get them to me thru my coworker. He brought them in yesterday and said there is one roll that someone wrote 1965-1969 on. I am thinking that roll has already been searched. When I opened it there were 18 65-69 one 64 and one 1951 franklin half. The other 11 rolls I found a grand total of one 1968. I bet I am going to have to search a lot more rolls to find very many now.

Nice ratio. Keep after the halves in your town and your co-workers town. Ask for "big" dollars too!

Very nice! I can only hope to come across such a find
