$.41 (1 Qtr, 1 Ni nickel, 1 dime, 1 penny). Been trying to finish the Canada dime and nickel albums. We are coming along nicely! For clad (not silver) CDN coins, all I have left to find is:

Dime album: just two left! Woohoo!! Need the 2001P (normal) and the 1970. I'll probably never finish the silver ones though. Still need 32 of those..sigh.
Nickel album: just 14 left to find: 1926 Far 6 (of course!), 1947, 1957, 1983, 1991, 1996,1997,2002,2003 uncrowned, 2004,2005 V-E day, 2006, 2010, 2012
Penny album: 26 small cents left (will need to buy the remaining 20 large cents of course)

It'd be interesting if we had someone on RC from NJ who could report on the abundance/scarcity of Canada coin to be found there.

I have at least 80 of those branches saved in my phone (for my dime box runs), and been in mostly all of them from Ft. Lee to Atlantic City. That being said, and as ballsy as I am about dumping fairly large amounts, I have never walked in and taken out the metal chute with the magnet. One time my halves were stuck going down the metal "runway" and I got yelled at for having my fingers in there too far.

I envy you guys that get all the Canadian from the magnets. The best I ever do with foreign is what is in the PVC chute when they open up to change bags. Get a lot of US silver from that PVC chute as well.

Edited to add: I just counted, and I have 92 of those branches saved in my phone.

Wow...I didn't know you were down that way. Man oh man. With all the sorting and dumping you do...you could be leaving a lot on the table.

I understand you not wanting to mess up a good thing, given the numbers you put up. But hey, we all get yelled at once in a while. I do anyway.

I almost forgot...the Feb take included my first ever found in the wild Canada half dollar, a 1978. These things are scarcer than krugerrands down here.

Pretty good week.

1. Got 3 CDN nickels from the coin counter. One of them filled a hole in my Canada book.

2. Free from teller: $1.64. She saved a bunch of stuff for me. Got a 1989 CDN dollar, 3 nickels, 1 quarter and 24 pennies! Oldest was a 1963; wasn't able to fill any penny holes though.

Another good week so far. Got a 2009 CDN quarter from the teller, two CDN dimes from the coin counter and...wait for it...a free silver 1903 CDN nickel! That's my first canadian silver nickel ever. Total is 50 cents.
