Cheap insurance...if you have an "extra" $100 in your digital bank account, should you leave it there, or convert it to a bank box of nickels and stack it? Sort of a no-brainer for the last several years IMO.

I think everyone should have at least some nickel. I'd take a $100 in rolls of nickels over $100 sitting in my savings account earning .3% interest any day.

I think we should just hold on to the nickels as well. Not much being said since the prices have gone down. (but a nickel at least is the value it represents!) No other currently minted or printed US money has its stated value. Worth holding on to just for that reason.
