Please help... what is this token? Any market for such a thing? It's not mine, I just need to attribute/appraise it. It looks more like silver than the scan may show. The reverse is plain, but has the same rim.

I'm pretty sure it's a coat check. Seems a little small though
If I have the gift of prophesy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to move mountains but do not have love I am nothing. And if I give all my possessions to feed the poor, and if I surrender my body to be burned but do not have love it profits me nothing.

My first instinct is that it is some kind of German wertmarke, such as a coat check, hotel, bar, etc.
And he that hath lyberte ought to kepe hit wel
For nothyng is better than lyberte
For lyberte shold not be wel sold for alle the gold and syluer of all the world
