Well, I wound up giving away 28 dimes. Don't know how many people wound up making "qualifying purchases" but they changed the program
after people began taking advantage of them. I guess a bunch of guys were ordering just a copper round or two, or a silver dime, and they
were losing money on the promotion. So they changed the rewards program for the referrer's. Only purchases (I'm guessing) made by the recipients of the $10 discount in excess of $100 were recognized. For those, I got a referral bonus.
I wound up with 8 bonuses. Couldn't stack them for one purchase (as they initially indicated I could)... and each of MY purchases needed to be
in excess of $100. With $7.77 shipping on every purchase, I wound up with a $12.23 discount on whatever I bought. Wound up buying five
1/10 oz gold AGE's and three rolls of Golden State Mint Morgan rounds. After my cost of giving dimes away, I wound up scoring maybe a total of $30
discount.
Here's the neat part. They tell you that your order has shipped... AND they've incorporated a USPS tracking header into each email, so you don't
have to paste the tracking number into the USPS website. You can just open your mail and determine where your package is. That's some astute
thinking there
