V Nickel Found

I found my first V nickel in $20 of MWR tonight. I've been searching for about 4 years and lost most of my sorting statistics. However, I have been through $6,820 or 136,560 nickels since the beginning of 2013. I still need 3 to fill by Jefferson book but this will keep my searching hopes up.

Still looking for my first V nic....my last bag had 3 wars nics and 2 buffalo nics....not my average find.

Your V nic is a great find for sure you can now check that off the list....I would surely do a V nic dance if I found one of those....maybe soon.

It's a bit worn but a nice coin none the less. I really like the V nickels. Never found one in a roll though. Congratulations on your find. Keep up the searching.

I haven't searched nickels in a long time, but I did find one 1896 V Nickel in $2200 searched, way back in 2010. I guess I was lucky!
