I just inventoried a nice haul of pre-82 Canadian nickels. Here are my results...
281.5# net weight of all the nickel nickels I looked at (there was about 20# of junk that I had to separate from the original mixed lot).
255 Geo. V nickels
1639 Geo. VI nickels (includes 80 1938's and 26 1948's)
30 1970's
It took almost exactly 3 days for me to look at over 30,000 coins. My back is aching and my vision is blurry!

Former stock broker w/ ~20 yrs. at one company. Spoke with 100k+ people and traded a lot (long, short, options, margin, extended hours, etc.).
NOTE: ANY stocks I discuss, no matter how compelling, carry risk- often
substantial. If not prepared to buy it multiple times in modest amounts without going overboard (assuming nothing really wrong with the company), you need to learn more about the market and managing risk. Also, please research covered calls (options) and selling short as well.
