Havent Posted in a while due to another hobby (Metal Detecting)
Last three boxes of dimes
#1 - 1963D
#2 - Skunk
#3 - 1964
That's all ive gotten out of any rolls so far this year.
But I have nabbed my first two silver coins metal detecting in the last two days
1944 Merc dime right outside my front door embedded next to the sidewalk not 2" down
1964 Roosie in what used to be an alley last used sometime in the sixties...it was getting dark when I found it so needless to say that's where ill be for the next few days lolol
I find silver a lot faster in a whole bunch of rolls of course, but it really feels greatly rewarding when you pull that bright silver out of the ground

Thanks Saabman. Try switching to the customer wrapped rolls. That seems to be where all the silver is hidden. I rarely find any silver from the rolls I get from boxes or partial boxes that tellers have in the vault.

Thanks for letting us know there is hope with the Loomis halves. Has anyone had experience with either Loomis or Brinks rolls (good or bad) that they'd care to share?

It matters not so much which armored service they are coming from as much as whether there are CRHers in your area. In my area the searching of dimes, quarters, and halves is maxed out. Every half box I've looked at here - no matter what bank, no matter what armor service - has been pre-searched. If you have an area where you can find an opening go for it. Only coins I've found here are nickels and while interesting for awhile, they were too much trouble for too few pickings.
