Old Pour enthusiasts discussion

Postby AGgressive Metal » Tue Apr 07, 2015 2:04 am

It seems like most of the discussion is about the price or the markets or other stuff we can't control. But what about the HOBBY or ART of rare bar collecting? Its a small enough market in the grand scheme of things that we can actually establish prices independent of the broader electronic bullion market. I'm unable to afford a giant collection but I really treasure the handful of pieces I've been able to accumulate. To me, the old pour bars just seem more like ancient money/treasure and less like modern industrial/generic commodity that the new stamped bars appear to be. Its a personal preference, just like some people prefer $20 Golds over modern Maple Leafs and such.
