Did I get ripped off?

This listing on ebay claims that this ciborium is gold vermeil. I don't see any marking which indicate that this is true and I put a $210 bid in. If legitimate I got a good price on this. At first I took the word of the ebayer at face value because of the picture of the nuns. Then I realized those are stock pictures. :| The link is here:http://www.ebay.com/itm/351494514377?_trksid=p2060353.m1431.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

Looks to be sterling with only the inside vermeil. If the weight of 148 grams is accurate, and if you were buying it solely for melt/metal content, you are way overpaying.

The link is working. For a CIborium the price is good. I just don't know if the Gold Vermeil is legit. The minimum requirement for use in the USA is gold plated. For $100 I could get a brass one. Church items are expensive. I just don't want to pay $210 and for it not to be gold vermeil which is a nice step up from gold plated.

Maybe send the seller a message to confirm and that way, you have a supplement to the listing and if there is an issue , eBay can check messages to confirm product is different than described. Good luck
