1911 Lincoln cent

Harsh overhead light is causing the brightness. The surface is uniform chocolate brown. Right wheat stalk came out a little blurry. It's just as sharp as the left side.

Thx for any opinions.

Thx guys. Believe it or not, this sat in a blue Whitman folder for decades in my late Dad's collection before I put it in a 2x2 a few years ago. Always been curious what it would grade. It's such a razor sharp strike too.

Great coin I am tempted to say AU as well - I guess it depends if the grading co said its "scratched" versus just an inconsequential bag mark. To me it looks like just a bag mark.

Very nice coin. Looks more like a scratch than a bag mark.....but I could certainly be wrong. Pretty amazing that it sat in that book so long......I hope it grades out well for you.

After blowing the photo up I would agree - From arms length not very distracting, but could scuttle attempt at getting a nice grade in slab
