I see some ghosting on the reverse. Dunno if that affects the grade negatively or not.

No i didnt know the coin was lacquered, it looked different but i couldnt put a finger on it. I do think acetone will remove it.. since its worthless like that, i may try it.. also may just keep it as a learning curve, which is most likely..

If it were me, I'd just keep it as is rather than tinker with it. Might be worthless as far as the market is concerned, but it's still a beautiful coin.

I had a 3 cent nickel I purchased during my scrap gold buying days. It was Nice..... MS nice.
Submitted to PCGS....comes back MS details spots removed. (details graded) yuck.
Cracked the coin out of the holder. Acetone bath for 2 days. Resubmitted to PCGS.....then MS-64 straight grade.
Sold for a handsome profit.

Moral of the story: if the grade does not fit you must resubmit.
