Wow mtalbot_ca is back from hibernation! And boxes 251-252 look like they were a really good way to start.

I went through a few boxes worth of Canadian nickels. Anything from the coin sorter in Vancouver is completely sorted for all Ni, CuNi and American. No point even cracking the rolls. Then there is the mint fresh clear plastic ones. The only thing worth looking at is customer wrapped rolls, and when you ask for a box its not usually CWR. I can add to the Ni pile, but it is pretty slow.

4 rolls of Canadian Nickels yeilded: 18 Ni,2 US, and 59 collector nickels like young queens, rabbits, kings, Canadian war nickels, Nickel refinary etc with the oldest being a few 1947 Maple Leaf and regular 1947 coins. Now if I could just remember what bank I got those at...

What is the big deal about the 2000-P's? Is there much of a market for them and what are they selling for these days?
Former stock broker w/ ~20 yrs. at one company. Spoke with 100k+ people and traded a lot (long, short, options, margin, extended hours, etc.).

NOTE: ANY stocks I discuss, no matter how compelling, carry risk- often
substantial. If not prepared to buy it multiple times in modest amounts without going overboard (assuming nothing really wrong with the company), you need to learn more about the market and managing risk. Also, please research covered calls (options) and selling short as well.
