Good reminder in so many ways! Look at all the various tabs, and reminder yourself of where we came from in 1980.

What I found interesting (so far) was the "Dollar to Silver" ratios. In 1913 it was 2.64 per Oz, Today it is 811.87!!

Effectively doubled from this date in 2008: http://www.usdebtclock.org/2008.html

The word "amazing" is way overused by those younger than I so I try not to use it at all but, I find it absof***inglutlyamazing (seems to fit well) that the system can still be up and running . . . time to take my BP meds.

I appeal to all of you if you have not already, please take the time to teach your children and grandchildren this. I have used Schoolhouse Rock's Tyrannosaurus Debt: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0efqnvYz4YI appropriate for all ages. $5 trillion back when aired around 1996, $10 T 2008, now almost $20 T.

For if we don't, in the words of Stephen the madman . . . https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yFCvg8uokZc

Based on this, about 38% of the population pay taxes, but 47% are employed.
Now I don't know why I said that.
TAX THE RICH! :o
-_-
I want to be wrong, except it's so satisfying to say I was right.
... and the world descended into chaos as the select survivors cried about the surrounding stupidity.
