Found 1976 .999 Canadian nickel at Coinstar at Walmart.
Former stock broker w/ ~20 yrs. at one company. Spoke with 100k+ people and traded a lot (long, short, options, margin, extended hours, etc.).
NOTE: ANY stocks I discuss, no matter how compelling, carry risk- often
substantial. If not prepared to buy it multiple times in modest amounts without going overboard (assuming nothing really wrong with the company), you need to learn more about the market and managing risk. Also, please research covered calls (options) and selling short as well.

I found almost 6 dollars last sunday in one of these machines! Second time this year!!! I always check on sundays...seems to be a good day for this.

In one of the local Wal-Marts last week - hit the Coin Star - nothing super duper,
but none the less - coins for me....
39 cents (1 copper cent, a Jefferson, the rest clad), and a plastic play money cent.

Changed jobs in late March so the bonanza of floor change and frequent Coinstar grabs is a thing of the past.

88cents found yesterday at the Walmart Coinstar. No good dates- all U.S. Coins- three quarters, a dime and three pennies.

I try and spend the bad zincs. Cashiers take them especially if mixed in with other loose change. I don't think I would try and get rid of 5 at a time though! LOL

Just two cents (both US) at the Walmart Coinstar, but one was a 1942-D in Fine condition. It will hardly change my lifestyle, but it is amazing how your heart skips a beat when you see one of those in the wild.
