I always enjoy seeing these photos. Thanks for sharing them with the community!

Is he using the Pesos or donating them when he is in Mexico?

Let me know if you ever want to sell Canadian coin. Ship it to my US address and I'll dump it in Canada and pay you in US$ at fair exchange less 10% handling fee.

Next year is my 25th wedding anniversary. We went to Vancouver Island and stayed at the Empress and are thinking about going back in 2017 for our anniversary.

That penny near the bottom right with the reverse showing looks like it could be a steel penny.

Also, I was thinking that if you ever find a Franklin half you might put it in some kind of special holder since that is your son's name.

Do you have a running total on how much British coinage you've found, or is that something you cash in with our coin exchange dude?

The funny part was we had not been in that credit union and months no one working in there seem to know Franklin and he walked over to the coin counter and opened it up and pulled then and the half out.

I've never found a Barber dime, quarter or half in change in my entire life. Congrats!

Also, that dime you found is exactly 100 years old. Very cool.

Not so rare, but the coin next to it is worth more than the Barber.
