Fake gold and platinum warning

Postby highroller4321 » Mon Oct 03, 2016 1:52 pm

Hi all,

I am apart of a couple dealer networks and there has been an increased amout of fake/counterfeit items being sold to dealers. There have been several dealers, mainly in the Midwest, that have been hit with fake stuff and lots of other reports.

Top 3 things that are being reported as faked:
#1 PAMP suisse 1 ounce platinum bars. These are in "original" packaging and look pretty legit. Thickness of bars and difference in packaging are the dead give away.

#2 NGC MS69 1 ounce AGE! I don't know much about these but the PMV will pick them up easily.

#3: NGC MS69 1 ounce gold maple leaves. I don't know much about these but the PMV will pick them up easily.

Guy saying he is from Texas has been hitting several shops in the midwest. I am sure there is plenty of other stuff going around as well.

Just a heads up to everyone!!

With respect to bad silver I have watched several videos on Youtube from people showing fake 1 oz silvertowne silver bars they recently purchased on ebay.
