It's tempting to buy right now but I think the price will keep decreasing... When I can get physical silver for $17 shipped again, I think I'll buy more.
267,500 pennies and 186,000 nickels searched. Hand sorter.

I had to sell some of my shiny to meet unexpected expenses this week....=(

What a bummer. However, I didn't have to part with the most valuable coins and bullion in my collection. I sure felt awful having to do so
at this time, sooooooo....I'm hoping the silver price drops back down in the near future. Only because I can get it back for LESS!

Silver at 19+ is good though, since the market hasn't moved a great deal over the last several months. At least I made a small profit.

If it lasts for longer than 4 hours, should we call our doctor?

See... back down to $19.70 today.

I'd be happy to see the Ag price consolidate between $19 and 20 area for a few weeks.

That's actually pretty good advice, and funny too. I've traded USLV for over 2 years in my IRA. I wouldn't trade it in a regular account b/c of the capital gains tax. Yes, it is volatile, but you can make money with it if you watch it very closely (like every 15-30 minutes). You can't always depend on stops with USLV. I have held it for 3-4 weeks at a time, but that has only happened twice. Most times I'm in and out of it within hours. I never take a large position in it. I never hold it overnight or over-weekends anymore.

Many people believe that USLV is an ETF, however it is not an ETF.

USLV is an ETN, the N meaning Note. In essence, you are providing an unsecured, interest-free loan to Credit Suisse. The really dangerous aspect of USLV is that it is a derivative . If USLV totally blows up, you're probably out your money. If Credit Suisse has difficulties, USLV could have difficulties too. So, you actually have 2 different risks in buying USLV - security risk and enterprise risk.

I don't think that USLV works well when silver prices are sub $16. I've seen it go pretty flat. I've never overlayed a spot chart on USLV, but it seems to be true.

The VIX ETNs make USLV look sedate.

I don't know, so many global financial and geopolitical chess pieces all in motion at the same TIME!!. I did notice this, that the yield on US treasuries over lain a chart of the SnP 500....the yield has touched the equities index price, and if we had a 2008-esque equities sell off...(?)...good grief, the BOARD price could be $9....COULD BE....but that's the price of CYBER silver, probably the premium would blow up five to seven dollars....my default position is sit on the stack, pay triple on all debts, and just keep my head low, hide in plain sight, and wish God's best for every dear soul I meet....serious.

that is what is staying my hand NOW, considering future purchases of RC Maple's, 2014-2016 (that is my go-to coin now) because I am comfortable with the stack...which I might add I did a slight jimmy rig, an audible on the line this year, I also done hid away a nice stack of frn's, just in case things get weird....for land's sake, I know its JUST "paper", but a whole lot of folks still have "full faith" in redeem ability, so like water, I will flow....that's a sun-Tzu thing, I think.

guessing?......market implosion?....$9 USD on the board......no implosion, another low slope up to that $20-22 area in a 6-8 month time frame.

Idaho, hope you got your farwood and propane in...first freeze coming, chores call, respectfully, n.

Neil, where have you been? Awesome to see you back.

As far as silver (and gold), I just keep adding, a little at a time be it 17 or be it 27. It's all I can do. Going to have two boys in college come June. Trying to squeeze 6 cents out of every nickel. PM money getting hard to come by. And darn it if I didn't start fishing again this past summer for first time since I was 17. Of course I am addicted. Have you guys seen how much fishing lures cost? Man alive.....

Keep stacking.

What is going on???

Are we about to see a dip to sub-$15???

I really want to pick up 100 Prospectors at spot +$0.50 on a Credit Card.
(Ebay Bullion Exchanges deal)

But it just seems like the bottom may fall out.

Thoughts? Wisdom? Insider info?

USD is going up. Things priced in USD are getting cheaper. That will hold until it doesn't.

Premiums will go up. The actual price, including premium, will not fall below $14

68Cam.....And water is wet.
And I really don't understand the dollar index, but if it's a purely percentage situation, the change in the dollar today percentagewise is about one third (or maybe 1/4) of the drop in silver percentage wise.

So I'm still missing something, or its dollar change PLUS over exaggeration, plus a move out of PM's.

Still, any thoughts about the result of this trend? Sub-$15?
