What is the premium on proof silver sets above silver value if any? Any Canadian dealers wish to chime in? A local dealer here has some and doesn't know where to get the best money out of them.

No premium on the 60's proof sets, as far as I'm concerned.
Standing offer: BUYING Canadian junk silver at 90% melt. PM me to lock in price and quantity.

Thanks. Is that the only time they made silver proof sets?

Depends if they are proof sets or "proof like" sets. In most cases, they sell for a little over spot price.
However, they made proof like sets from 1953 on. The ones from the 50's, if still in the original cellophane, are valued in the $100's.
