ayup that is what this one place did, paying 1.05 for a few weeks until he built up the customer base, then started cutting it back. now at 55

.05 each here in NY. The Youth Group has been collecting cans. I bring them to BJ's. They made $3 and change the other day.

57 cents a pound- sold 7# for $4. Sold in an undisclosed location.
Former stock broker w/ ~20 yrs. at one company. Spoke with 100k+ people and traded a lot (long, short, options, margin, extended hours, etc.).

NOTE: ANY stocks I discuss, no matter how compelling, carry risk- often
substantial. If not prepared to buy it multiple times in modest amounts without going overboard (assuming nothing really wrong with the company), you need to learn more about the market and managing risk. Also, please research covered calls (options) and selling short as well.

Awesome article about one very frugal and fiscally responsible man. I wish all govt. employees would learn from him.

Amen. Especially the incoming administration apparently ready to run up the deficit. Infrastructure spending is an excellent focus, just do it with money we have, not "printed" and borrowed.

Here in NYC it's 5 cents a can. But I always find it a hassle to collect the cans and redeem them. I think the most i've made was $5.

40 cents in Houston, Tx. It was that price when aluminum hit bottom, and expected their offer to be higher. Going to hold on longer if I "can".
