My first CWR produced an 1883 IH and 6 steel. Didn't get the details on the steels so I could report the first IH of the year :) :) :). More later.

CRWs 5 & 6 produced two HIs: 1898 & 1902 and 13 more steels. I'm going back to the bank when it opens. This is so cool. 8-)

7, 8, & 9 produced a 1909 IH and 4 steels. Looks like the vein may be running dry.

Edited to add, that's it.

If that's your definition of a vein running dry, maybe I need to move to Prescott, AZ!!! :)

I don't know if I've ever found a steel cent in the wild, even though I have found a few Indians over the years. For you to find as many as you did is staggering. Do you read the local obituaries?

substantial. If not prepared to buy it multiple times in modest amounts without going overboard (assuming nothing really wrong with the company), you need to learn more about the market and managing risk. Also, please research covered calls (options) and selling short as well.

1891 in VF to VF+ in a BWR from a box of $25. This was the first pre-1900 coin I've ever found.

Found an 1899 Indian Head cent today on the floor next to the Coinstar machine at Walmart! I grade it as Good+.

It was meant for me to find that rascal, because I will appreciate it and put it into a separate Ziplock baggie with a note indicating when and where I found it.

Now I've found two Indians this year. Can't believe that johnbrickner has found five of them!!!!

Found a 1907 Indian Head cent Friday in Fine-VF condition while going through a $25 box of CWR of pennies recd. on 7/14/17. So that is three Indian Heads that I've found in the last six months or so. Still can't believe that John Brickner has found 5 this year. I'll settle for second place though.

It is interesting that as a group we've found 12 Indian Head pennies this year and only 1 was a duplicate (1905). So there were 11 different dates represented out of 12 coins found. That may be rather unlikely.
