When she brought the trays out I spotted 20 or so paper rolls that were ancient-I'm talkin' old faded green with a 1950's font on the outside.. I saved these for last.

Back from my vacation.....box of halves prior to vacation was a skunk. Box of dimes yesterday (waiting for my boxes of halves to arrive) was also a skunk.

Looks like a bunch of silver was found while I was away! Great hunting you all!

a 68, and 6 '69's right out of the teller drawer, there was 3 IKE's in the drwaer also but the teller wanted those....a good trade!

$500. Brinks Box

Today I picked up a $500 Brinks box of halves. The box was sealed a and each roll was roll wrapped as always. Now when I opened each roll there was 1 half with a blue ear, some of the blue ear halves had 9-10 in blue on the back, the only half in the whole roll with a mark. Now out of 50 rolls 48 rolls had the 1 half with the blue ear mark, the other 2 rolls had 2 and 3 halves with the same mark. Now if these halves are all dumped in a hopper or somthing like that at Brinks and randomly wrapped how do you explain 48 rolls out of 50 having 1 half with the blue ear mark. I would think some rolls would have 2, 3, 4, or 5 and some with none. Can anyone explain this???

Oh heck...just got to throw it out there...sounds like a conspiracy job. Those Brinks guys have caught on. Darn van drivers are going through our halves and sealing the boxes back before delivering them to the bank. Dang! Is it one of us?
