1982 zinc penny mintage figures

As far as I know, there are no specific mintage figures for the 7 varieties of circulated 1982 pennies.
After doing a lot of coin roll hunting in the past few years, I set aside all of my zinc 1982 pennies, and I sorted them into the 4 varieties. I collected most of them in Minnesota, but some of them I got in Nevada.

1,601 Large
152 Small
220 Large D
1,527 Small D
------------------
3,500 Total

So it appears that the 1982 small date (no mintmark) is likely the lowest mintage and that the 1982 large date (Denver) is likely the 2nd lowest mintage. I was surprised to see a roughly 10 to 1 ratio between the varieties. I think I actually found more 1958 D wheat pennies than 1982 zinc small dates (no mintmark), so they seem to be uncommon in circulation.

I did not do counts of the brass 1982 pennies by variety, but I know that I accumulated over 10,000 total, so I'll assume that all 3 copper varieties are easier to find.

Does anybody have any additional information about the 1982 penny mintage figures?

I know nothing about the circulation of the '82 Zincs but I do know that after 25+ years of circulation they are way fewer and far between and poorer condition. Nice hoard you've got by total numbers. Impressive and way more than I've got.

Wikipedia mentions a 1982-S a part of a proof set. Did anyone find one in the wild?

I wonder if the s mint (proofs) are copper or zinc...

I found this... The 1982 Proof coins are typically found with strong deep cameo devices. Notably, the Lincoln Cents contained in the Proof Sets were struck in the bronze composition. For circulating coins, the US Mint had switched to a zinc based composition during the course of the year.
