Just an FYI- I don't keep the dirty ones (unless they are really good dates). I figure that if I am selling to a collector, they might go along with the "copper is copper" rationale.
Former stock broker w/ ~20 yrs. at one company. Spoke with 100k+ people and traded a lot (long, short, options, margin, extended hours, etc.).

NOTE: ANY stocks I discuss, no matter how compelling, carry risk- often
substantial. If not prepared to buy it multiple times in modest amounts without going overboard (assuming nothing really wrong with the company), you need to learn more about the market and managing risk. Also, please research covered calls (options) and selling short as well.

I just sorted 10 rolls that I picked up at the bank. The teller was very friendly about it. Here's my results:
Roll #1: 4 good ones
#2: 4
#3: 3
#4: 5
#5: 7
#6: 1
#7: 5
#8: 7
#9: 8
#10: 3
Total: 47 good ones.

Oldest: 1959, 1 penny

That's a lot of work for not very many keepers. But I always picked up pennies before so it's all good. I'll trade in the new ones for more rolls and try again next week.

June 2018 :D

$205 BWR --> $15.53 copper cents --> 7.58%

This batch reached average less than 10%.
Silver Monometalism is the most permanent and stable form of money the world has seen. Natural law and history prove silver value is best multiplied by gold and best divided by copper. It is only in this counterfeit currency time when the natural law appears suspended.

Wow that is amazingly low for such a large lot. I'm gonna guess that half or more of the rolls came from the same party- a copper collector.
