Here is an interesting article about the potential after the price manipulation fails:

He's saying this could happen any day now............

This is ridiculously stupid analysis.

To take estimates of above ground inventory and assume that on the basis of less silver above ground than gold, that we should use the price of gold to wratchet as a lever by which to wratchet price of silver is asinine. Silver is not gold. The price of gold is irrelevant.

There is far less pounds of tulip bulbs above ground than ounces of gold too. Should tulips be valued higher than gold? I use tulips because they, like silver, have been used as a store of value in the past.

What about horse-shit? There is probably less horse-shit above ground by weight than gold too, and horse-shit has a valuable use as fertilizer...since there's less than gold, should we assume it to be more valuable?

I'm invested in silver and think it's suppressed too...but this analysis is just bunk.

$6,000 silver is asinine. The price of gold is relevant to the price of silver. And it is relevant to the price of palladium and platinum as well.

Not quite. Any old person can make a ton a horse [shucks] quite cheaply. Let's see them mine silver or gold. Not that $6000 silver makes any sense. It's just that your point doesn't either, to be blunt.

Well, I for one plan to start putting up bags of horse-shit next to my bags of copper pennies and stacks of half dollars. Best to be diversified.

Keep all you pennies, and half dollars separate from your horse [shucks] it will cause

corrosion on pennies especially, but the half dollars will corrode too.

everyone growing a garden for preps, I hope is doing this.

I have 10 bags of horse [shucks] for sale for $5.00 per bag, or 2 bags for $10.00.

you pay shipping, and insurance if you want it.

there is no guarantee that this will grow your silver.

Oh, there will be $6,000 silver, but, there will also be $1,000 bread and $500 milk. If the Fed keeps printing inflation will be a bitch.

Uh, TX, that would be hazardous.

Can't wait till march.....must pick now.

As for shipping horse crap.
Grade A......firm, moist, yet homogonous........can go USPS flatrate
Grade B......loose, hard, sun baked, inconsistent.......can go USPS flatrate
Grade C......Mostly liquid, what are you feeding your horse, someone call the Vet.....must be shipped via Fedex

Yep... pretty sure that's how we got away from using PM's as everyday currency in the first place!

He'll, if you want horse crap you don't need to go all the way to D.C.. Just go down to your local town hall. Be prepared though and wear your waders, it gets deep fast!!

Nice discussion, but all joking aside Two Pennies, the items you mention all have their own unique intrinsic value. There is absolutely not a single one of us who can say with certainty what the price of silver, gold, tulips or horses**t will ultimately attain. They will all of course go higher due to inflation. Anyone with a supply of any of these is a rich man (or woman).

Even wackos like Peter Schiff have posited astronomical values for silver, and gold. Acquire a supply of everything that will benefit you and you are rich. Even a nut-job like John Williams reminds us to stash some good scotch whiskey. These are the folks I listen to.
“Gold is the currency of kings, silver is the currency of the educated, barter is the currency of the working-class, and debt is the currency of slaves.”
