$20 dimes that beat the odds,, 1963

$100 quarters that went the other way, one roll short 2 , others all had tokens or nickels.

1960-D quarter.
Bought a bag of quarters hoping to complete the 2018 first to find. I think this is the first silver quarter that I have found searching rolls and bags. I have got a few in change over the years. This bag also contained 5 2018 quarters all with P mint mark, kind of strange for Minnesota.

Got $100 face in halves yesterday. Nothing silver.

Son working at Kroger last night brought home a 2000-S Proof Kennedy half (not silver). It has seen a bit of circulation but still had the frosted foreground with mirrored background and those sharp reeded edges. Pretty cool even if only worth 50 cents.

While dumping the above box, I filled up the bag on the machine. The CU employee comes out the change bags, me: Sorry about that; Her: no problem, your not as bad as the lady we had in here a couple of weeks ago.......she dumped her husbands coin collection in here. She filled up four or five bags, it was mostly dimes and quarters. me: Ahhhhhhhh......Thogey's widow strikes again!

Box 2 yielded......1 x 64 , 1 x 65, 1 x 67, 1 x 69!!!!

Ok, so I'm cheating a bit here, but I've been quite busy the last couple months or so.

I tallied up half dollars received at 28 banks from 9/12/18 to 11/20/18 and got the following.

$1,519.00 face value in halves yielding just a single 40%er. Ouch.

I don't believe I've really done much since then due to other activities that have been more pressing for the time being.
