Would you buy a flan flaw coin?

I am looking at one that was graded with this flaw. It looks like it's just because the coin was cast off center. Should I avoid it?

I actually saw quite a few on eBay, if you search you will see them out there, both graded and ungraded.

It's when a coin has a deep crack that could result in it breaking.

That is interesting. Thanks for the reference. So a flan is basically a planchet. A flan flaw would be the same thing as a planchet flaw. I added a new word to my vocabulary on the first day of 2021!
