Nothing newer than 1973, some sort of collection dump but the rolls were otherwise mixed dates. Found 3 chrome plated war nickals in the mix but otherwise all Ni. Not sure if they were saved by someone for nickel content or what. The other 20 rolls had just the odd Ni or American nickel.

TXSTARFIRE wrote:The lobby at my bank recently opened. I went in yesterday and asked if they had any halves, they did! I got $800 that came out of the lobby machines but they had rolled them. I prefer to get them in a bag instead of unrolling them but oh well. People must be bringing in stored up coin. While I was there a guy was dumping a large water bottle into the machine, looked like three or maybe four gallons of coins. Anyway, my results:
1x 67
2x 68
1x 69
and some nice NIFC
05P, 06P, 07P, 07D, 08P, 09P, 17P
It was fun to sort halves again!

$10 in halves- found a 1970-D- I think that’s only the second time in my life that I’ve found a 1970-D in the wild!
Also $50 in halves- found a 40% half (1967).
