Other Canadians hoarding the Canadian 1982 - 2000 Nickel?

I understand that it's difficult to get excited about 1982-2000 Canadian nickels, especially with metal prices basically moving sideways. I don't keep them either except for 1991 (low mintage). However, I should point out that these nickels do have long term potential while the 2001-present do not. The 2001-present nickels were made of CHEAP metal for obvious reasons. There may come a time when people start to drain them out.
