Saabman, nice box! That 1970 is hard to find, I have only found one. Do you know how many you have found? How did you catch the 76? Just by the look?

When you guys talk about 1970, I’m assuming you mean 1970-D. I have only found one 1970-D and, of course, it is worth more than just the 40% silver content.

It (the 1970) is either my 3rd or 4th one. I'm not 100% sure. I was totally shocked when I saw it and the last one I pulled was 4 or 5 years ago. I think the '76 40% is only my 2nd or 3rd of those. The edge was definitely a give away that it was silver.

I probably should have specified 1970 D because there is also a 1970 S (proof). Pretty sure mine is a D mint. Also, NGC says 6-11 dollars depending on condition (grade). It backs up your point about it being worth more than the silver melt. I trust NGC more than these other sources that are out there.

Well now that was work. It took from 830 last night to 2 am to do the halves bag.
I
My guess is that the hales ,,shute, is the,, loosest,, being the largest coin.
3 button, several messed up pennies, a dime that looked like it had been shot, 2 quarters, a piece of glass, a smashed earring???. Might even be gold as it is not metallic.

More S proof
71,89
Silver
64*2,67*2,68*2,69

Unfortunately that is the end of coin from that branch. Until renovations are completed this summer.

$16 nickels, 6 Mexican $1... Trouble with being 50 miles from the border.with a Mexican population in Tucson of 44%.
