The long drought FINALLY ENDED TODAY! I went since 11/9/21 without finding a single silver half dollar at all. That was $2,521.50 in face value of halves that I went through without getting a single silver coin. Today I was asking a teller if they had any halves and the teller next to the one I was talking to say "I have some." The only had 12 coins, but then they stacked them it appeared that one was a Walking Liberty half. Sure enough, a nice VF/XF coin- 1940-P.
In fairness I did get other denominations that were silver during my drought. Once I got 2 silver dollars last year and another time I got 3 silver dollars. Also, I know of at least one time where I got a silver dime at a Coinstar machine. So it wasn't a total shutout for 2022, but it certainly was frustrating to go through over 5,000 coins before finding a single silver half!

NOTE: ANY stocks I discuss, no matter how compelling, carry risk- often
substantial. If not prepared to buy it multiple times in modest amounts without going overboard (assuming nothing really wrong with the company), you need to learn more about the market and managing risk. Also, please research covered calls (options) and selling short as well.
