Stopped at four banks this morning and bought $12 in loose halves, producing a 1967. All of my 2023 silver has been 35-40 percent except for one fluky quarter. However, 35-40 percent is way better than zero!

Bank 1...no coin to spare.,all new...
But we have $700 small dollars... Yikes. Over load.
I took $100.

Bank two....not my normal teller, rather, a dumb blonde.

$8 nickels...zip
$7.50 pennies...I think this is more, coin from a school. As one roll was all shields, next all memorial...

Been a while since I posted on this forum.

Earlier this week, I found myself in a new area, so I checked out a few banks. No luck in the first three, including one where the teller and I swapped stories of our finds. Last bank, the teller said she had 5.00 in halves, and started to give me grief about not having an account. I used my usual line, of "do you really want to keep counting these every night?" That and my smile plus the line of people behind me must have worked:

I picked up Two $200 bags of nickels. Tucson hit a new high for Tues. 99 .it got so warm, it spawned monsoon type weather, pop up rain showers. Which prevented our first 100.
Today is 40 mph winds.
Ah the Lovely weather, to stay inside and Sort.

First bag....
35 keepers, with one war.
Odd, a 1987,20 cent Singapore.
14,2023d ..the upward trend continued, as would be expected.

30 pre 1960... With one war.

8 2023 so...I must have gotten them ,out of order.

Chase 1..$50 halves....3..1964. From rolls that I would never have guessed. Bank rills ,where they pry open one end..

Oh..I have $150 in small dollars too. Other teller ,chimes in with, I have $500..as I did not have that much.I took $100.

$24 Ike's.
$75 smalls..only opened them in the truck to see, zero SBA, second 0...third had 15..
