Hey RCer's,
I am working on massively downsizing my collection to convert into a savings fund for our daughter.
But as a result of this, I am now interested in getting those "few" keepers graded. I am a bit embarrassed to admit the PGCS submission form is giving me some trouble, and their call service is literally always jammed. Not sure if there is really a way to get help from people here.
Where i'm at in the PGCS process. I'm not a member yet. But I believe paying for a year membership gets you a handful of 'free' submissions. So I believe that's my plan. I also don't know how many coins I want to send in.
Here is a general list of the coins I am considering sending in. I welcome your thoughts. Like if you would or would not get this coin graded.
Coins:
semi key Barber dime (pretty low grade)
semi key Barber half (pretty low grade)
Mint Errors (double dies; DDO 1984, DDO 1995, type b reverse silver quarters, WAM Lincolns, possible VAM Morgans. etc.)
Mint Error (possibly one truly exotic error)
Possible MS 90% coinage - Is it worth getting modern 90% (1950's to present) graded? I basically hoarded only the better examples as I flipped lots. I'm sure i have a lot of MS silver Wash quarters, Roos dimes and Kennedy half dollars.
