Well that's not a very impressive US total. Considering the decent showing foreigns made, I really expected better but it wasn't meant to be I guess. If I can scrounge $19.85 in Nov & Dec I'll make it to $500 total since I've been tracking Coinstar/ground fishing on this forum. My neighbors have certainly done their part as parking lot finds continue on beyond record territory. Let's see what the next 61 days has in store.

Usually when I check a COINSTAR machine, I get shutout. However, I hit pretty big on Wed (Nov 1): a CAD quarter, two zincolns and two American dimes - one of them SILVER!

Went to Walmart today; checked the coin star machine and found three quarters - two American and one Canadian.

Today I saw someone at a CS dumping about 3 freezer bags of change into it. I hung around to see if anything got left behind. Nothing was left. I wanted to jump up and down like a 2 yr old, lol

2023 feels like it's going to end with a whimper in the Coinstar department. I'm concentrating so much on my small dollar hunting that I haven't gone out of my way to check them as often. Plus, one of the best stores on my route closed so there's less potential for discoveries. Still, there have been finds, just not the quantity I'm used to.

Yep trip to ER extremely high blood pressure had a nose blead for an hour, ruptured blood vessels in both nostrils . On blood pressure medication now...

I cannot in good faith report the coin machine, gimmes. Of last week. The machine said, requires attention. The teller opens it up, tells me it is,down. Then proceeds to hand me all the metallic coins trapped on the inlet.

Yesterday, a local COINSTAR came through with three quarters - 2 Canadian and one American. Had to go back to that same store today, checked it's machine and was empty this time.
