Sure they will take my pretty glittering stuff, but I want them to pay OUT in pm's instead of paper.
If you are waiting for the "correction" to buy you need to realize that the increasing prices ARE the correction.

Sounds as if Utah has discovered the value of fiat. :o

How nice of them! Soon they will DEMAND payment in PMs.

Of course the gubmint recognizes the weakness of fiat, they created it.

I too will accept payment in gold and silver.

Why would you ever pay taxes in gold unless they artificially over-valued it?

For nothyng is better than lyberte
For lyberte shold not be wel sold for alle the gold and syluer of all the world

I'd be interested in seeing how that works out. What's the taxpayer's incentive? And what uniformed bureacrat is handling the exchange rate?

The story was slanted to deride the whole concept. The only thing they mention as a possible use for gold in transactions is paying your taxes. I haven't read the legislation, but I'm certain that was NOT the primary impetus for it's introduction.

Those crafty BASTARDS, BASTARDS, BASTARDS at Faux News (they are just as bad as every other MSM outlet, don't kid yourself otherwise), have succeeded in shifting the argument from sound money to taxes. A pox on all of them.
