Stopped at one bank this morning and bought 14 dollars in halves, but all were junk.

Got $40 nickels today.

19 rolls had 0 keepers. Maybe a half dozen from the 60,s and a few 70.s

The last roll was a different wrapper. 2 keepers .

Stopped at three banks today. First one had $24 in halves, but all junk. Other two had no halves at all. After reading saabmans results, I might have to start ordering boxes!

So, that makes $333.50 total for the 6 banks above. No silver.

Also, that makes $955.00 searched since 11/28 with no silver found. Glad I'm not going out of my way to get these halves. I'd have a really hard time justifying the effort. If this wasn't a hobby, I frankly wouldn't even continue. But I like this hobby, even though the hobby doesn't like me right now...

Tuesday I got halves from 7 different banks, 4 of which were in about a one square mile area.

A total of $471 in halves.

The only silver to be found was a single 1982 Washington commem half (BU).

One of the tellers did tell me she had 2 rolls of wheat cents and I gobbled those up. I broke open one of the rolls and it appeared to be all wheats including a 1919-D.

This was still quite a bit of work for way less than minimum wage. Still, I’m not giving up.
