Well that was a lot of work. The last 25 coins in my hand , gave me a 1952.

2 - $500 boxes of halves that I acquired in April for sorting with my Australian cousin who visited this week. Skunk and 1 -1968.

2 - $250 boxes of dimes skunk and skunk

4 - $100 boxes of nickels, 6 silver war nickels.

All the boxes were bank boxes.

$340 dimes..less than zip.. Mex .50 smaller than a dime.

I got $3 in halves from the bank yesterday but nothing good. Didn't feel like it was worth posting.

I have had similar experiences. For example, I will purchase a few loose halves from one or two banks and NOT report them unless I actually score. I use $5 as the minimum amount for posting on this thread. Again, unless I score!

If I had the time, I would keep track monthly and report in a cumulative way. I have to admit that I like how Recyclersteve keeps detailed records on this.

Stopped at my dump bank yesterday to cash in zincolns. Picked up four loose halves. Three junk and a 1943 WALKING LIBERTY!!!!!!!!

Stopped at a dump bank to unload more zincolns. $3.50 in loose halves - no silver. However, there was a highly unusual half dollar (in AU condition) that turned out to be a commemorative coin! A 1986. Had no idea of their existence. Also scored a 1976 Eisenhower at this bank

$14 in halves received on Friday- $10 from one bank and $4 from another.

No silver this time.

10 rolls from the bank yesterday yielded 3 40 pct halves, 66-67-67-68D. Also 81S proof, and 31 NIFC.
05P,11P,11D,12X 23P and 16X 23D.

Went to 11 or 12 banks on Wednesday. After 7 banks I had only gotten a total of $1 face in halves.

At the end it was $71.50 face value- no silver.

One of the guys at one of the banks said he has lots of collectors that stop by. Really? That’s quite surprising to me. He was closing up at 5pm, but I wish I had more time to probe more on that subject.

Got $13 face in halves. The wrapper for the roll looked like it was 40-50 years old, so I was excited to break it open. Did get a 40%er, my first silver since 3/26 (covering about $1,200-1,300 in halves searched since then).
