Got my first find in a long long time. Two zincs and a dime. Nothing special about any of them, but it was a fun to find them.

July's results were seriously lacking in US finds, but the foreigns more than made up for it with six new countries debuting for 2024, including a new one for the all-time list. It's also kinda funny that I found more Canadian 25 cents pieces than US quarters. The US total wasn't without its highlights though, that being the oldest find of the year so far. And my apartment complex parking lot finally ended its drought (just barely) by giving up a penny. Who know, maybe the coins are melting in the Vegas heat before I can find them.

For the month of August, I did the usual Coinstar checks. Struck out most of the time, but there were a few connections. August totals are

AMERICAN:
7 pennies including one copper and one 1943 steel
4 Dimes

CANADIAN : a quarter, a dime and a nickel. Pleased to report that the nickel is pure nickel (1974)

Total face = 87 cents. Nothing to be thrilled with, but better than nothing.

Virtually nothing to report this month. For some reason I made only a single Coinstar run in August, which produced the only content (one token) apart from regular US coinage. Could be because work took up more time than normal and I just wanted to relax on my off days in the final dog days of summer. Cooler temps and more downtime hopefully means more discoveries as we head into Fall.
