Agricultural Trade Defecit

Postby knibloe » Thu Sep 05, 2024 8:23 am

As if losing our energy independence over the last 3.5 years isn't enough, look at this article about Agricultural Trade. Over the last 50 years, we have only had negative Ag exports 4 times. including the last 2 years under Kamala/Biden with the third straight year well under way. We used to be the bread basket of the world, now we are net importers.

"Cold, dark and hungry" is a feature not a bug in the plan the elites have cooked (get it, yuk yuk, cooked...you're going to be cooked...shades of Soylent Green...they have already shown us our future) up for us. Sure, many of the underlings who will put said plans into practice are incompetent, but they still operate with enthusiasm. They work hard for their money.

I do my grocery shopping at a large regional chain. Even though Look Out It's Gonna Kill Us All Covid has dissipated, there are still shortages of certain products I prefer. Simple stuff like a particular version of one of the store brands of cereal, or orange juice with lots of pulp like Adam and Eve preferred, etc. We're still not back to normal, and I don't doubt we will recall wistfully those days of our youth when normalcy was abundant.

The war on energy, by this administration is impacting costs to farmers. There is also a war on cattle, by removing federal land from cattle grazing.
